FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR
DUTIES:

- Responsible for accurate processing of GICs, insurance and claims. Mutual funds & securities experience an asset.
- Prepare materials for client meetings (statements, spreadsheets, forms etc)
- Log & follow-up on all processing on client database.
- Research and resolve all processing or customer service problems.
- Assist with marketing-newsletters, client appreciation functions, quarterly statements, e-mails, filing, preparing letters etc.
- Perform other general office duties as required. Reception duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preference given to experience operating for an independent financial advisor covering a wide range of financial instruments.
- Previous GIC, insurance, mutual fund & securities processing experience. Aptitude working with numbers.
- Completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course or Canadian Securities Course an asset.
- Great organization skills-ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced small office environment.
- Excellent communication skills oral and written. High level customer service skills
- Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 4 years experience in GICs, insurance, mutual funds, securities industry.
- Mutual fund/Securities processing preferred with a dealer or branch.
